So the Oscars happened as planned and there wasn't really anything too shocking or wacky; there was singing and dancing and jokes, there were speeches and commercials.
The Hurt Locker won best picture and best director and I still don't want to see it.
The thing I kept wondering was when do movies like Avatar become animated movies but then I would get tired of that thought and think about the tacky set that seemed very remincent of the late 70s idea of class.
